Where to Stay Near Progressive Field

Progressive Field is downtown in the Gateway District, so you can walk to the ballpark from most downtown hotels. Four of them are within about a 7-minute walk, and the pedestrian-only East 4th Street dining district is about two blocks from the park.
A Cavaliers game or a concert at Rocket Arena, a big convention, or a Browns home game can fill downtown hotels on the same night as a Guardians game. Check what else is happening in Cleveland on your dates before you book.
Within about a 7-minute walk
The Metropolitan at The 9 (2017 East 9th Street) and the Kimpton Schofield Hotel (2000 East Ninth Street) face each other across East 9th Street, about a 5-minute walk from the ballpark. The Schofield is the boutique pick, in a brick building whose facade has been restored to its look from around 1902.
The Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown (1100 Carnegie Avenue) is about a 5-minute walk, and the Residence Inn Cleveland Downtown (527 Prospect Avenue East) is about 7 minutes. The Residence Inn’s suites come with a full kitchen, which helps on a multi-night trip.
A 13- to 20-minute walk
The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland (1515 West Third Street) is the upscale pick, about a 13-minute walk from the ballpark. The Drury Plaza Hotel Cleveland Downtown (1380 East 6th Street) is about 15 minutes, and the Hilton Cleveland Downtown (100 Lakeside Avenue East) is about 20 minutes. On a cold or wet night, those three are a short rideshare instead.
